Meet Dr. Theresa "Tess" Garcia
MD, FAAFP, Diplomate, American Board of Obesity Medicine
Dr. Tess Garcia, a board-certified Family Physician and Obesity Medicine Specialist, brings over 20 years of experience to Blue Springs, MO. As a Mexican American and Native American, her journey from music teacher to physician was inspired by her calling as a Sun Dancer—a Native American healing ceremony. Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Obesity Medicine, Dr. Garcia is dedicated to underserved communities, offering patient-first care through her Direct Primary Care practice, Garcia Family Medicine.
